- Filed an application for the recognition and enforcement of the SIAC award at the Myanmar District Court in 2020. This international award was one of the few successfully recognized by the Myanmar Court.
- Filed multiple stay applications in favor of arbitration at the Myanmar District Court, the High Court, and the Supreme Court. Out of five separate applications for different disputes, three resulted in successful outcomes.
- Represented an international client in amicable mediation at the Myanmar Arbitration Center concerning high-value, complex construction disputes between an international company and a Myanmar government body.
- Assisted in negotiating a settlement between a shipowner and the crew members’ next of kin for death compensation claims due to Covid-19 infection on board, successfully reaching an out-of-Court settlement.
- Advised on high-profile negligence lawsuits in the US and potential lawsuits in the UK concerning the limited liability of online platforms for social media content related to alleged genocide against the Rohingya minority community in Myanmar.
